Maryann Mangan Palermo

Maryann Mangan Palermo serves as Lead Director and Associate General Counsel at Equitable since April 2016, specializing in representing major life insurance companies and financial institutions in commercial real estate transactions. Prior to this role, Maryann held positions as Special Counsel at DLA Piper and Kelley Drye & Warren LLP, focusing on commercial real estate loan transactions and Chapter 11 proceedings. Additional experience includes managing civil and criminal litigation as Court Clerk for the Village of Bronxville, and previous roles as Associate Attorney at Cuddy & Feder LLP and Kelley Drye & Warren LLP, as well as serving as Associate General Counsel at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center. Maryann holds both a Bachelor’s degree and a Juris Doctor from Fordham University, awarded in 1988.
