Danielle Pierce has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Danielle started their career as a Pharmacy Technician at Discount Drug Mart in 2003, where they focused on customer interactions and assisting patients in finding discounts. In 2014, Danielle became an Instructor at Heritage College & Heritage Institute, teaching Pharmacy Technician courses and helping students excel in their careers.
In 2015, Danielle joined Equitas Health as a Certified Pharmacy Technician. Their responsibilities included working with retail and 340B patients to ensure they received medication at the best possible price. Danielle also assisted in infectious disease specialties, called patients for medication pickup, and offered to ship medications directly to the patients.
Later, Danielle transitioned into the role of Executive Assistant at Equitas Health, where they worked from 2016 to 2019. In this position, they provided support to the organization's leadership team and assisted in various administrative tasks.
From 2019 to 2022, Danielle worked as a Project Implementation and Accreditation Specialist at Equitas Health. Their role involved coordinating and implementing projects, as well as ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.
Most recently, Danielle assumed the position of Director of Pharmacy Operations at Equitas Health in March 2022. Danielle oversees the pharmacy operations and ensures the smooth functioning of medication services.
Through their work experience, Danielle has gained extensive knowledge and skills in pharmacy operations, patient care, teaching, and project management.
Danielle Pierce obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology, General from The Ohio State University. Danielle attended the university from 2004 to 2014. In addition to their degree, they also obtained certifications in HIV/AIDS Education from The Ohio State University College of Social Work and as a PTCB Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician from PTCB in November 2007.
