Susan A. Rounds, RPh

Susan A. Rounds, RPh has over 25 years of experience in the pharmacy industry. Susan A. is currently the Director of Pharmacy Operations at Curant Health, where they ensure responsibility and oversight for all pharmacy operations at the corporate office and a secondary location in Florida. Susan A. is skilled in leadership and works well with diverse teams.

Prior to their current role, Susan served as the Chief Pharmacy Officer and Director of Pharmacy at SAFE Health, where they led the ordering process and operational efficiency for a start-up mail-order pharmacy. Susan A. also oversaw prescription mailouts and ensured accuracy and alignment of orders.

Susan has also worked at UnitedHealth Group as a Senior Manager of Pharmacy Operations, spearheading strategies to operate a closed-door pharmacy and increase on-site pharmacy footprint across the country. Susan A. was responsible for budgeting, vendor selection, quality assurance, and employee training.

Earlier in their career, Susan gained experience as a Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist at various companies including Sav On Drugs Pharmacy and CVS Pharmacy. Susan A. managed pharmacy operations, supervised teams, and improved operational efficiency. Susan A. also served as a market trainer and preceptor for summer interns.

Throughout their career, Susan has demonstrated exceptional customer service, expert knowledge, and a commitment to operational efficiency. Susan A. has received awards and recognition for their achievements, including "Pharmacy Manager Rookie of the Year".

Susan A. Rounds, RPh obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Pharmacy from Drake University. Susan A. is a Registered Pharmacist in multiple states, including Nevada (obtained in October 1997), Illinois (obtained in October 1994), and Georgia (obtained in August 2021). Susan also holds certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification in Healthcare (obtained in January 2022), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification in Healthcare (obtained in December 2021), 340B University Statement of Completion (obtained in July 2021), Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification in Healthcare (obtained in July 2020), and Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification in Healthcare (obtained in February 2020). Additionally, they are a Certified Immunizing Pharmacist certified by the American Pharmacists Association.
