Sanjay Batra

Sanjay Batra has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Sanjay began their career at Bajaj Finserv, where they served as an Officer, handling credit underwriting, branch operations, and receivable management. Sanjay then progressed to roles such as Senior Officer and Branch Head, where they were responsible for building loan portfolios and managing collections.

In 2006, Sanjay joined Tata Motors Finance Ltd as a Regional Manager, driving consumer durable sales finance and handling OEMs and dealer networks. Sanjay later served as State Sales Head for Commercial Vehicles in Maharashtra and Goa, and as Regional Sales Manager for the East region. In these roles, they focused on driving sales targets and managing infant delinquencies.

Most recently, Sanjay has been working at Equitas Small Finance Bank as a Senior Vice President. Sanjay served as the Zonal Head for New Commercial Vehicles Finance in North India before transitioning to their current role as Zonal Business Head for the Vehicle Finance Division in the same region.

Sanjay Batra completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting and Finance from Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra in the years 1993 to 1996. Sanjay then pursued a Master of Commerce (M.Com.) degree in Finance & Economics from the same institute, completing it in the years 1996 to 1998. Furthermore, Sanjay attended the Institute of Cost Accountants of India from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained an ICWAI Intermediate degree in Cost Accounting.
