Smitha Kumar has a wide range of work experience in various companies. Smitha started their career in 2000 as Manager Insurance Sales at GE Money. Smitha then worked at Cholamandalam DBS Finance LTD as a Senior Manager in CRM from 2007 to 2008. After that, they joined Cholamandalam MS General Insurance Co. Ltd. as Head of CRM from 2008 to 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Franklin Templeton India as Head of Operations support, India TA. Currently, they are working at Equitas Small Finance Bank as Head of Customer Experience since 2019.

Smitha Kumar's education history begins with their attendance at the CSI BAIN SCHOOL from 1984 to 1996. Here, they did not earn a formal degree or focus on any specific field of study.
