Daniel Boateng currently serves as a Research Fellow at Equitech Futures and the University of Tuebingen, focusing on climate and tectonics interactions, empirical and numerical modeling, and machine learning. As a PhD candidate, Daniel contributes to scientific model development using Python, FORTRAN, and Bash scripting. Previous experience includes a year-long software engineering internship specializing in full-stack development at alx_africa, and multiple roles as a research assistant in geoscience departments where tasks included software development for climate modeling, geophysical methods application, and environmental biotechnology. Daniel holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Paleoclimate Modelling and Climate Dynamics and has completed a Master of Science in Applied and Environmental Geoscience, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering.
