Jonathan K. Roop

Jonathan Roop is an experienced banking professional currently serving as the SVP - Chief Deposit Strategy Officer at Equity Bank since June 2021. Previously, Jonathan held various positions at Huntington National Bank from March 2010 to June 2021, including Retail District Manager and Banking Office Manager, where responsibility encompassed managing a team and overseeing branch profitability and customer service. Jonathan started a career as a Personal Banker at Fifth Third Bank from March 2009 to March 2010. Jonathan holds a BA in Psychology from West Virginia State University (2000-2004) and is currently enrolled in the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking (June 2022 - June 2024).
