Raj K. Patadia

Mr. Patadia is an engineer in the Materials & Corrosion group at E2G | The Equity Engineering Group, Inc., providing welding, metallurgy, and corrosion guidance to the refining and petrochemical industries. His work includes performing HTHA FFS evaluations, P&ID level corrosion assessments, metallurgical failure analyses, and consulting on weld repairs and fabrication issues. Mr. Patadia also has experience in performing damage mechanism reviews, weld simulations, and the implementation of ASME Codes and API Standards.

Prior to his full-time position, he was an intern for E2G, during which time he helped to develop and apply an advanced Level 3 HTHA analysis to quantify total damage due to service at elevated temperatures in hydrogen environments. Mr. Patadia helped to optimize the HTHA assessment capabilities of E2G to create a more accurate consulting tool. Additionally, Mr. Patadia developed laboratory testing capabilities for non-standard micro-tensile and micro-Charpy tests on material extracted from in-service equipment via E2G’s Buckeye III scoop sampler.
