Jean Kennedy

Jean Kennedy is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in business transformation and internal audit. Currently serving as SVP of Business Transformation and previously as SVP Director of Internal Audit at Equity Residential since December 2006, Jean has a robust background that includes roles as SVP Chief Accounting Officer at Grubb & Ellis and VP Corporate Controller at Chernins Shoes. Jean's career began at Arthur Andersen LLP, where responsibilities included being a Manager in Audit and Financial Consulting from June 1985 to December 1992. Jean holds a BS with Honors in Accounting from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completed in 1985.
