Mohammed Sow

As Chief Financial Officer, Mohammed serves as a business partner/advisor/sounding board for the CEO and the executive management team in planning and executing the scaling of the business. He has responsibility for the overall financial strategy, allocating capital and resources efficiently and helping to drive the company’s performance across the board.

Mohammed is an accomplished finance executive and entrepreneur with over 18 years of financial leadership experience at both Fortune 500 and private equity backed organizations. He has spent the last seven years working primarily in finance leadership roles at PE backed healthcare companies. Prior to joining Equum, Mohammed was the Vice President of Finance at Wound Technology Network (Woundtech), where he oversaw all aspects of the company’s finance organization. He has also held roles at Pyramid Healthcare, Sharp Electronics and Pepsi.

Mohammed holds an MBA from Hult International Business School in Cambridge, MA and a BA in Business Economics from the State University of New York at Potsdam. He is currently completing the Venture Capital and Private Equity Senior Executive Program at Columbia Business School.
