Guillaume Rey

Guillaume Rey, PhD MBA, currently serves as the Manager of Digital Health at Etat de Vaud since November 2024. Prior to this role, Guillaume has held various positions including Manager of Digital & Data Innovation and Scientific Manager in Bioinformatics at Unilabs from January 2020 to October 2024, and co-founded and led gimini as CEO from August 2021 to September 2024. Additional experience includes serving as a judge and mentor for MassChallenge Switzerland, leading innovation initiatives at the Translational Accelerator and holding positions as a Senior Research Scientist and Lecturer at the University of Geneva. Previous roles also include Research Associate at The Francis Crick Institute and the University of Cambridge, and a startup founder at Entrepreneur First. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Molecular Life Sciences and an Executive MBA from EPFL, along with advanced degrees in Physics from the same institution.
