Daniel Sampaio

Daniel Sampaio has significant experience in the metal and mining industries, currently serving as CEO of Eramet (Shanghai) Trading and holding the position of Deputy VP at Eramet International since August 2010. His career includes roles as General Manager, Director, and Technical Commercial Manager at Eramet, as well as Sales Manager at Gerdau from 2008 to August 2010. Daniel has also contributed to education as a teacher of Cost Accounting and Cost Management at UMC between 2007 and 2009, and served as Key Account Manager at Aços Villares from 2004 to 2008. Earlier in his career, Daniel Sampaio was a Trainee Engineer at Aços Villares S.A. from 1999 to 2001. Daniel holds a metallurgical engineering degree from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and an MBA from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, along with additional executive education from Duke University and INSEAD.
