Mouhamat Seck

Mouhamat Seck has over 21 years of experience in various technical and managerial roles within the mining and water resource sectors. At Eramet, Mouhamat served as Corporate CTO and Senior Water Resources Specialist, focusing on compliance with mining codes, auditing water resources, and improving hydrogeological equipment efficiency. Roles also included Area Manager for TIG and Mine Technical Services Manager, overseeing project coordination and technical studies in hydro-agricultural works. Previous experience includes technical direction for infrastructure projects at ERECO, supervising public infrastructure maintenance with FoMIIG-SAED, and conducting geophysical studies for water projects. Mouhamat completed a PhD in Hydrogeology at Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar, where research focused on the Northern Coast aquifer and the impacts of mineral sand mining. Additional certifications in Applied Groundwater Modelling were obtained from IHE Delft Institute for Water Education.
