Diego Guevara

Diego Guevara has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and information technology. Diego is currently working as the Chief Security Officer at Estabanell, where they are responsible for information and asset security. Diego has a strong understanding of regulatory needs, reputation management, and user expectations.

Prior to this role, Diego worked as the Responsible for Information Security and a Technology Risk Consultant at ESCUDA SGSI S.L. Diego was involved in managing technological risks and ensuring compliance with established security controls. Diego also served as a Consultant for Technological Risks and Cybersecurity at Grupo Added Value, where they supported clients with risk management and security compliance.

Diego has experience in providing technical support and system administration. Diego has worked as a Systems Support Technician at Seidor, where they were responsible for managing Windows Server systems and providing remote user support. Diego also held the position of an Operator for Cybersecurity at esCERT-UPC, where they gained practical knowledge in the field.

Additionally, Diego has volunteered as a Community Manager for Asociación FAMILIAS ADOPTANTES COLOMBIA and worked as a Formador Ocupacional Ofimática at Femarec SCCL. Diego has also held various teaching positions, including being a member of the teaching staff at Generalitat de Catalunya and a computer monitor at Grameimpuls, SA.

Diego Guevara has a diverse education history in the field of cybersecurity and information technology. Diego obtained a Master's degree in Cybersecurity Management from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2016. Prior to that, they attended New Horizons Barcelona, where they earned Microsoft Certified Professional certifications in Managing and Maintaining Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment and Installing Configuring Administering Microsoft Windows XP Professional in 2008. In 1999, Diego obtained an Ingeniería Técnica degree in Informática Sistemas from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Diego also holds a Formación Profesional Grado Superior diploma in Tecnología/Técnico de electrónica industrial from Joan Manuel Zafra, which they completed in 1987. In addition to their formal education, Diego has obtained several certifications, including ISO 22031 Business Continuity Lead Auditor, CoA Certified Ethical Hacker (exam pending), ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA), CSX Nexus Cybersecurity Fundamentals Certificate, and MCIT Microsoft Certified IT Professional W2003 Server.
