Maarten Wijfjes

Maarten Wijfjes has a diverse work experience spanning from 2001 to the present. Maarten started their career at NoRRoD Computers BV, where they worked as a Hardware Sales professional from September 2001 to August 2005. In 2005, they joined the AMOR-toernooi foundation as a Board member, responsible for organizing a prestigious Dutch badminton tournament. Maarten held this role until September 2008.

Following this, Maarten joined Anchormen | Data Activators in October 2005. Over the years, they have held various positions within the company, including Project Lead, Technical Consultant, and Data Engineer. In January 2018, they were promoted to Head of Engineering, Groningen, responsible for overseeing the engineering department. Maarten currently holds the position of Chapter Lead Engineering as of April 2022.

In 2002, Maarten Wijfjes entered Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Systems until 2008.

Furthermore, Maarten Wijfjes obtained an additional certification as an Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2019.
