Koen van Overdam

Koen van Overdam is a highly experienced vitreoretinal surgeon currently serving at Erasmus MC and Retina OC from April 2024. With a robust background that includes roles such as editorial board member for Acta Ophthalmologica and reviewer for various ophthalmology journals since 2017, Koen van Overdam also holds director positions at Orbitology and The Rotterdam Ophthalmic Institute. As an inventor, contributions include the development of the Vitreous Wiping technique and Intra-ocular Diathermy Forceps, enhancing surgical effectiveness in vitreoretinal procedures.
