Paul Boomkamp

Paul Boomkamp currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Executive Board at Erasmus MC, a position held since November 2019. Prior to this role, Paul was Chief Financial & Risk Officer, deputy chairman of the Executive Board, and a member of the Executive Committee at PGGM N.V. from 2015 to 2019. Paul has also held the position of Chief Financial Officer and member of the Executive Board at Catharina Ziekenhuis Eindhoven from 2012 to 2015, and worked as Managing Director for the Individual Life Insurance & Mortgages business line at AEGON Nederland from 2007 to 2012. Earlier experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer & Chief Information Officer at AXA Nederland, as well as roles at McKinsey & Company and Shell. Paul holds a PhD in Applied Physics from the University of Twente, a Master's degree in Economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and a Master's degree in Applied Physics from Eindhoven University of Technology.
