Sonja Buschow

Principal Investigator

Sonja Buschow serves as a Principal Investigator at Erasmus MC since October 2014, focusing on the mechanisms of formation, secretion, and targeting of exosomes in dendritic and B cells. Academic training includes a PhD in Medical Biology from Utrecht University, where research emphasized dendritic cell and B cell exosome dynamics. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral role in Tumor Immunology at NCMLS from October 2006 to September 2014, studying dendritic cell subtypes and their role in melanoma. Additionally, Sonja participated in a short-term fellowship at ICFO, utilizing superresolution microscopy to investigate phagocytic receptors on dendritic cells, and conducted research during a student internship at the University of Cambridge.
