Tjeerd de Jong

Tjeerd de Jong is a dedicated researcher and PhD student in Otorhinolaryngology at Erasmus MC since August 2020, focusing on the ICOPE study, which examines the impact of communication on psychosocial states and emotions. In addition, Tjeerd coordinates the largest Head-Neck oncology research database in the Netherlands and has extensive experience as a tutor offering affordable educational support in various subjects since 2011. Tjeerd has held various roles, including assistant floormanager and barman at CineMec, instructor for first aid training at Erasmus MC, and operator for Beamerteam Bethelkerk. With a strong educational background in Medicine from Erasmus University Rotterdam, Tjeerd is committed to contributing to both academic research and community education efforts.
