Wouter Schallig

Wouter Schallig is a postdoctoral researcher at Erasmus MC, focused on knee joint loading in patients with osteoarthritis within the Motion Biomechanics and Imaging (MOBI) lab. Wouter has a diverse background in biomechanics and human movement sciences, having previously served as a PhD candidate at Amsterdam UMC, where involvement in the FABI project led to the development of the Amsterdam Foot Model and the execution of clinical gait analyses. Additional experience includes roles as a research intern at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, where research centered on cycling time trials, as well as positions at AFC Ajax and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, providing assistance in academic settings. Wouter obtained a Master of Science and a PhD from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, following a Bachelor of Science in Human Movement Sciences.
