Ahmed Elshaer is currently serving as an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Glasgow and an Emergency Medicine Clinical Teaching Fellow with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, both since September and August 2023, respectively. In addition, Ahmed is a Social Media Representative for the Young European Resuscitation Council since September 2021. Previous roles include serving as an Emergency Medicine Clinical Development Fellow at NHS Ayrshire & Arran and a Medical Doctor at the Ministry of Health & Population in Egypt. Ahmed gained foundational experience as a Medical Intern at Mansoura University Hospitals and as a Research Intern at the Children's Cancer Hospital in Egypt. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Resuscitation and Emergency Medicine from Queen Mary University of London and a Bachelor of Medicine from Mansoura University School of Medicine.
