Tim Jacobs

Tim Jacobs is a medical professional specializing in emergency medicine, currently serving as a Resident at University Hospital Antwerp since October 2024. With extensive experience in emergency medical roles, Tim acts as a Level-1 supervisor for the Belgian Emergency Ultrasound Society and is an ERC Instructor Candidate for the European Resuscitation Council. Tim is also an APLS Instructor with the Advanced Life Support Group and has held the position of Head Physician for the local Red Cross department in Zwijndrecht since October 2019. Previous training includes multiple residencies in emergency medicine at ZNA - Ziekenhuis Netwerk Antwerpen and Ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg, along with an internship in gynecology at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences. Tim holds a Medical Doctor degree and a bachelor’s degree in Medicine from the University of Antwerp, complemented by a high school diploma in Science-Mathematics from Sint-Michielscollege Brasschaat.
