Peter McCloud is an accomplished Aero/Aerothermodynamics Engineer at ERC - Engineering, Research and Consulting, Inc. since September 2012, specializing in designing aerothermal environments for NASA's Orion vehicle utilizing computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and wind tunnel testing. As the President and Chief Technology Officer of McCloud Aero Corporation, established in October 2012, Peter focuses on the development of technology for large-scale UAVs and personal transportation vehicles. Additionally, Peter serves as an Industry Consultant for the Portland State Aerospace Society, contributing to the manufacturing of launch vehicle components. Previously, extensive experience was gained at Boeing from January 2004 to September 2012 in various engineering roles, including generating CFD solutions for the CST-100 and providing thermal analysis for the Space Shuttle Program. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical & Aeronautical Engineering and Physics from the University of California, Davis.
