Zaida Hernandez, P. Eng., is a highly experienced Senior Process Engineer with a robust background in process engineering and design across various sectors, including refining, biorefinery technology, and chemical production. Currently positioned at ERCO Worldwide since June 2022, Zaida previously held similar roles at TWD Technologies Ltd. and American Process Inc., where notable contributions included the detailed engineering of the Methyl-Ethyl-Ketone de-waxing unit flare and advancements in biomass conversion processes. Zaida’s expertise in process simulations, equipment design, and operational optimization has been demonstrated in multiple high-profile projects, including the revamp of PDVSA refineries and development of proprietary biorefinery technologies. Academic credentials encompass a Master’s degree in Process Control, Modeling and Simulation from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Central de Venezuela.
