Mahaboob Subhan Shaik

Mahaboob Subhan Shaik is an experienced engineer currently serving as a GMS Apps Sr Engineer at ERCOT since November 2022. Prior to this role, Mahaboob worked as a Power Systems Software Engineer at GE Digital from September 2020 to November 2022 and held positions at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) as a Project Engineer and Associate Project Engineer in Protection and Control from February 2017 to September 2020. Earlier experience includes a role as a Commissioning Engineer at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited from March 2010 to May 2015 and as a Software Programmer Analyst at Cognizant Technology Solutions from March 2009 to February 2010. Mahaboob holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
