Margaret Sachnik

Margaret Sachnik is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in accounting and financial systems analysis. Currently serving as the Lead Financial Systems Analyst at ERCOT since July 1999, Margaret coordinates with IT on the configuration and implementation of financial systems software, while also overseeing the monthly close process as Supervisor of Accounting. Margaret's prior roles at ERCOT include Lead Accountant and Sr. Accountant, specializing in fixed assets management and journal entry oversight. Earlier experience includes positions as a Treasury Analyst and Accountant, along with an Administrative Assistant role. Margaret holds a BBA in Accounting from St. Edward's University and a BA in Sociology from The University of Texas at Austin.
