Zane Culkstena has a diverse range of work experience. In 2002, they joined DDB Worldwide Latvia as a Strategic Planning Director, where they developed strategic communication plans for leading companies in the Baltics and Scandinavia. Zane also designed the brand strategy for Swedbank. In 2012, they transitioned to Amrop as a Consultant, conducting a large-scale survey on Employer Branding. From 2013 to 2015, Zane worked as the Strategic Planning Director at TBWA Latvija, focusing on team development and new business, and creating brand communication platforms for Lattelecom. In 2015, they founded the consultancy firm ERDA, specializing in employer branding strategies for major companies in the Baltics. Zane also has experience in the arts sector, having founded and chaired the kim? contemporary art center in 2008, and serving as the CEO of the Riga Jurmala Music Festival from 2018 to 2022. Currently, they are a co-founder of Find Ada and a member of the Supervisory Board at the Art Academy of Latvia.
Zane Culkstena completed their education in a chronological order. Zane started their academic journey at Rīgas Ekonomikas augstskola - Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Economics and Business Administration from 2000 to 2003. Zane then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Media and Culture Studies at the University of Sussex from 2004 to 2005. Lastly, they attended Columbia University, earning a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Arts Administration from 2010 to 2012.
