Shannon Clarke

Shannon has always had a healthy love of books. She loves to find mistakes in publications and will even fix them in her personal copies. Regularly, she can be heard shouting about how you should always read the source material before seeing the movie (even if she sometimes doesn’t take her own advice).

She took a step towards the dream of editing as a profession by going to Stevenson University and earning a degree in English Language and Literature. She helped produce content for the literary magazine, THIS: A Literary and Media Journal. While at Stevenson, Shannon found that she loved writing short stories and prose poems. She continues to have bursts of inspiration.

In her spare time, she enjoys driving to nowhere with the radio blasting anything from country to showtunes, hiking, sewing, and swing dancing. When not dreaming of seeing a Broadway show in New York City, she spends time with friends. She also enjoys evenings with her cat, who thinks that she’s the Queen of the Underworld and acts accordingly.
