Serena Cavaliere

Serena Cavaliere has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Serena started their career at Ansaldo Segnalamento Ferroviario spa in 2002, where they worked in planning and controlling until 2007. Serena then moved to Ansaldo STS as a Financial Controller from 2007 to 2008. In 2008, they joined Rodriquez Cantieri Navali S.p.A. as a Business Controller for the Yacht division, which later merged into Intermarine S.p.A. in 2012. From 2009 to 2014, Serena worked at ERG Spa, first as an Investment Controller and later as a Business Energy Controller. From 2014 to 2016, they served as a Market Analyst at ERG Spa. Since 2017, Serena has held the role of Structured and Sustainable Finance expert at ERG Spa, specializing in green and sustainable finance solutions. Serena has been responsible for defining green frameworks, assessing and monitoring the green issuance process, and selecting eligible projects for funding. Serena has a notable track record of overseeing over 2 billion green issuances.

Serena Cavaliere completed their education at various prestigious institutions. Serena first attended Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia, where they graduated with a degree in Ingegnere gestionale (Business Engineering). Serena then pursued further studies at FEEM - Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei, earning a Master's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain in 2002. Prior to that, they had gained a strong foundation in engineering specialized on business management during their undergraduate years at Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia, where they studied from 1994 to 2001. Most recently, in 2019, Serena completed an Executive Program in Debt Management at SDA Bocconi.
