John Brasher

John Brasher has a diverse work history with experience in various engineering roles. John began their career in 2011 as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at BorgWarner. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at Carpenter Co. as a Pourline Process Engineer. In 2015, they joined Ergon Inc. as a Process Engineer and later became a Senior Process Engineer from 2016 to 2018. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Research Chemical Engineer at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC). In 2021, they returned to Ergon Inc. as a Project Maintenance Engineer, and in 2023, they became the Director of Projects and Processes at Ergon Asphalt & Emulsions, Inc.

John Brasher obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Mississippi, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, they also received the Engineer In Training certification from the Mississippi Board of Licensure for PEPLS in October 2012. Furthermore, they obtained the 40 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER - 29 CFR 1910.120 certification from Aerosol Monitoring & Analysis, Inc. in May 2019.
