Kristie Armstrong

Kristie Armstrong, Ph.D., is an accomplished professional in the field of analytical chemistry with extensive experience in laboratory management and technical project leadership. Currently, Kristie serves as the Refining & Marketing PSMD Technical Projects Manager and the Laboratory Manager for Technology Research & Insights at Ergon Inc. since July 2019. Prior experience includes roles as Laboratory Manager and Senior Analytical Chemist at Ergon Refining, Analytical Chemist at the US Army Corps of Engineers, and Biochemistry Division Director at the Mississippi Public Health Laboratory, where participation in the CDC's Laboratory Response Network and analysis of biological fluids for chemical exposure were key responsibilities. Kristie earned a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and has contributed to various research projects and methodologies, including trace metal analysis and environmental monitoring.
