Bilel Benatia

Bilel Benatia is a seasoned telecommunications professional with extensive experience in microwave planning, design engineering, and transmission network management. Currently serving as a Senior Microwave Planning and Design Engineer at Ericsson since September 2025, Bilel previously held the position of Senior 2G, 3G & 4G Transmission Design & Planning Engineer at Ooredoo Algérie from November 2011 to October 2025. In this role, Bilel focused on microwave network design, site surveys, and the preparation of technical documents for microwave transmission equipment installation. Bilel also worked as a Senior Transmission Engineer, managing a large transmission network and providing L2 support. Earlier experience includes a position as a Transmission Engineer at Wataniya Télécom Algeria, where responsibilities involved executing work orders and verifying transmission system readiness. Bilel holds a degree in telecommunications from INTTIC, earned between 2009 and 2011.
