Diego del Hoyo

Diego del Hoyo is an experienced professional in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as the Account Director Core & Cloud for the Global Customer Unit Vodafone at Ericsson since January 2013. With a strong background in 5G technology and network solutions, Diego has held various leadership roles, including Sales Director for Transmission, IP, and Packet Core, where responsibilities involved defining technical and commercial strategies for Vodafone's network. Prior to joining Ericsson, Diego worked at Huawei for nearly seven years, holding key positions such as Vice Director of Network Solution Department for the Vodafone Global Account and Senior Product Manager, focusing on mobile backhaul and network solutions. Diego's career began at Lucent Technologies, where contributions included technical support engineering and software development for telecommunications products. Diego holds an Engineering degree in Telecommunications from Universidad de Valladolid.
