Joakim Sorelius

Joakim Sorelius is the Head of Business Unit Global Network Platform at Ericsson, overseeing the aggregation of advanced 5G network capabilities for enterprises and developers. With a career at Ericsson starting in 2006, Joakim has held various leadership positions, including Head of Advanced RAN Markets and Head of Development Unit Networks, leading over 13,000 R&D engineers. Joakim's extensive experience in 5G includes roles such as Head of Product Area Network Systems and Head of Product Line 5G RAN, focusing on product ownership and architectural leadership. In addition to Ericsson, Joakim serves on the Board of Directors at AMEXCI. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Signal Processing from Uppsala University and executive education from respected institutions such as Stanford and the Stockholm School of Economics.
