Karl Werner is a Principal Researcher at Ericsson, where they previously served as a Senior Researcher and Research Engineer from 2010 to 2022. During their tenure, they led physical layer development in LTE testbeds and conducted field measurements and analysis. Prior to Ericsson, Karl worked as a Test Engineer at Anoto, focusing on test and verification of embedded software in 2001. Karl holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University and has studied Computer Science at the University of Waterloo. They are currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
