Ellen Miller

Ellen, the Executive Director of Passing Hats, has been located in Erie for three years. She first started Passing Hats in Texas, and what once was a small operation of a few individuals has grown to several locations through Texas, now expanding to Colorado as well. Ellen has been a member of the Erie Chamber of Commerce since before she moved here. She’s committed to growing the Chamber’s membership as a Board Director, hoping to help new and existing businesses grow. She volunteers for every Chamber event she can, and spends time volunteering for Meals on Wheels every Wednesday morning doing food prep.

Ellen loves being a mother to her three children, and grandmother to two grandchildren. In her free time, she loves all activities pertaining to art - drawing, painting, pottery, glass, welding, and gardening, to name a few.
