Shannon King

Shannon King is a Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in trauma recovery and clinical practice. Since January 2020, Shannon has served as the Clinical Director of BRAVE TRC at Erie County Medical Center Corporation, the only Trauma Recovery Center in upstate New York, providing essential trauma-informed services to victims of violent crimes. Additionally, Shannon operates a private practice under Shannon M. King, PsyD, while also holding past leadership roles, such as Membership Chair for the Psychological Association of WNY. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) from Medaille College and multiple advanced degrees in psychology and education from Canisius College and Medaille University. Shannon's clinical training encompasses a variety of internships and fellowships in esteemed institutions, highlighting a strong commitment to evidence-based mental health care.
