Ed Snyder

Ed Snyder has extensive experience in event management and facility operations, currently serving as General Manager at Erie Events since May 2014. In this role, Ed oversees various venues including a convention center and multiple hotels, highlighting the picturesque Lake Erie as a backdrop for events. Ed's previous positions include Director of the Warner Theatre and Assistant Director of Sports Facilities, where management of events at UPMC Park and Erie Insurance Arena took place. Prior to these roles, Ed held various positions in the sports and event management field, including Assistant General Manager at Lancaster Barnstormers and internships with organizations such as the United States Golf Association and Major League Baseball. Ed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
