Eugene C. Connell

Eugene C. Connell is a board member at Erie Insurance. Eugene was previously the Snowsports Director at Peek'n Peak Resort and Spa from January 2014 to December 2015. Prior to that, they served as the Deputy Secretary, Compensation & Insurance for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania from January 2013 to November 2014, where they had oversight management responsibilities for the WC Office of Adjudication, the Bureau of Workers Compensation, and the PA State Workers Insurance Fund. From April 2012 to November 2012, they were the Executive Vice President at Risk Lighthouse, LLC, where they conducted research and consulting in the Governance, Risk, and Compliance arena with a specialty in the development of economic risk intelligence, risk indices, and modeling tools for the financial and P/C insurance industries. Eugene has also served as a member of the board of directors for Erie Insurance Group and as Senior Vice President, CRO, Chief Actuary for Erie Insurance Group from February 1988 to June 2011.
