Kevin McCann has a diverse range of work experience in various roles within the insurance and market research industries. Kevin began their career as a Market Research Analyst at Partners In Marketing, Inc. in 2000, where they led multiple research engagements across different industries.

In 2001, Kevin joined Nationwide Insurance as a Specialist in Marketing Analytics, and they held this position until 2006. During this time, they gained expertise in campaign planning and measurement. Kevin also worked on product concept development and collaborated with agencies to incorporate research insights into messaging and campaigns.

Kevin then moved to Nationwide Financial in 2006 and served as a Consultant in Market Research and Marketing Analytics. In these roles, they supported the Individual Investments and Retirement business units, respectively. Kevin was responsible for managing research initiatives, optimizing marketing materials, and creating marketing measurement plans. Kevin also played a key role in campaign development, segmentation, and forecasting.

In 2007, Kevin returned to Nationwide Insurance as a Director of Customer & Market Trends. In this position, they established a new function focused on informing enterprise strategy by tracking economic cycles, competitor actions, and industry forecasts. Kevin also provided insights for annual planning and participated in risk management scenario discussions.

Between 2010 and 2012, Kevin held various leadership positions at Nationwide Insurance, including Director of Insights Integration and Corporate Strategy Director. In these roles, they led teams and provided strategic direction to inform decision-making across the enterprise. Kevin played a key role in industry assessments, market intelligence analyses, and opportunity analysis. Additionally, they focused on integrating primary, secondary, and analytic findings to provide well-rounded solutions.

Since 2012, Kevin has been working at Erie Insurance Group. Kevin initially served as the Market Intelligence & Research Director, where they worked with senior leadership across the enterprise to inform strategic issues and enable decision-making. Kevin provided leadership to team members and was involved in industry assessments, strategic market research, and strategy development.

In 2015, Kevin was promoted to the role of VP Experience & Strategic Research, where they continued to contribute to the strategic direction of the company. In 2017, they transitioned to the role of VP Strategy, taking on additional responsibilities in shaping the company's strategic initiatives.

Outside of their work at Erie Insurance Group, Kevin has also been involved in various board roles. Kevin served as a Board Member at the Society of Insurance Research from 2014 to 2017, a Board Member at The Institutes RiskBlock Alliance from 2018 to 2020, and a Board Member and Strategy Committee Chair at Erie Homes for Children and Adults, Inc. since 2020.

Throughout their career, Kevin has demonstrated their expertise in strategy development, market research, and decision-making within the insurance industry.

Kevin McCann earned a Bachelor's degree in Business from Ohio University in the years 1997 to 2000. Kevin then pursued a Masters degree in Business from Tiffin University, studying from 2004 to 2005.
