Dennis Laan

Dennis Laan has extensive experience in the plastic pipe systems industry. Dennis worked at ERIKS Nederland as an Application Engineer for Plastic Pipe Systems starting in 2022. Prior to that, they spent over ten years at aquatherm GmbH as a Technician for Aquatherm Pipesystems. In this role, they conducted product presentations and plastic pipe welding trainings, while also sourcing new projects and customers. Before aquatherm GmbH, Dennis worked at ERIKS Nederland in various roles including Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, and Sales back office, where they sourced new markets and customers, made sales budgets, led a group of sales personnel, visited contractors and consultants, and conducted on-site plastic pipe trainings.

Dennis Laan received their education from various institutions over the years. From 1980 to 1986, they attended Johannes College in Den Helder, The Netherlands, where they studied at the Grammar School level. Following this, in 1986, they enrolled at the Inholland University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Dennis completed this program in 1990 and obtained the degree of "Ing.". In the same year, they also briefly attended the University of Leiden in The Netherlands, focusing on Chemistry.

Apart from their formal education, Dennis Laan has obtained additional certifications as well. In August 2022, they completed the "Microsoft Teams Essential Training" from LinkedIn, and also earned the certification for "Technical Sales: The Role of the Sales Engineer" from the same institution in the same month and year.
