Margie Halloran

Margie Halloran is a multifaceted composer, singer, and songwriter known for blending contemporary choral music with folk/pop elements, often infused with a touch of cynicism. With over two decades of experience as a composer at Marjorie Halloran Music since 1999, Halloran creates choral and chamber music that emphasizes the importance of all voices, including altos, while addressing diverse themes such as nature and mental health. Additionally, Halloran has held various roles in retail, including positions at Erin Condren Design and American Girl, providing exceptional customer service. An educator as well, Halloran has served as a Graduate Assistant and held leadership positions within the MFA in Music Composition program at Vermont College of Fine Arts. Halloran's academic credentials include an MFA in Music Theory and Composition and a BA in the same field, showcasing a solid foundation in music education.
