Erin Leonard

Erin Leonard has a diverse background in event management and planning. In 2019, they founded their own company, Erin Leonard Events, where they offer scalable event planning services. Prior to that, they worked at Collaborative Communications Group for seven years, starting as the Director of Meetings and Events and being promoted three times. In this role, they managed a team, developed programs and content, and organized annual events for education-based clients. Before that, Erin worked as an Event Assistant at the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, where they supported medical events and played a role in growing their membership. Erin also interned at the Executive Office of the President, U.S. House of Representatives, Northeastern University, Sam Yoon for Mayor Campaign, U.S. Government Publishing Office, and Boston City Council in various event management and scheduling roles. Erin's experience showcases their expertise in event planning, team management, program development, and strategic outreach.

Erin Leonard, HMCC, obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Cultural Anthropology from Northeastern University in 2010. In 2015, they completed the Education Policy Fellowship Program (EPFP) from the Institute for Educational Leadership. Erin also holds additional certifications, including an Inclusive Event Strategist certification from Meeting Professionals International (obtained in 2023), a Healthcare Meetings Compliance Certificate (HMCC) from Meeting Professionals International (obtained in June 2023), and a Combating Sexual Harassment in the Workplace certification from CypherWorx (obtained in 2023).
