Bruce Komiske, MHA, FACHE has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of hospital design and construction. Bruce has served as a Project Executive and Vice President in various healthcare organizations, overseeing the development of new hospitals and medical centers. Throughout their career, they have contributed to the construction of notable healthcare facilities, including the world's tallest Children's Hospital. Starting in 1983, Bruce worked as a Project Executive and Children's Hospital CEO at Rhode Island Hospital - Lifespan. In 1994, they joined Westchester Medical Center as the Project Executive for Maria Fareri Children's Hospital. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as a Project Executive at KSA, contributing to the construction of Sidra Medical Center. Bruce then joined Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago in 2008, where they served as the VP of New Hospital Design and Construction. In 2013, they joined Erlanger Health System as the Vice President and continued to contribute to the design and construction of new hospitals. Most recently, Bruce has been working at Fareri Associates in the role of Project Executive for Medical Science Village in Westchester, NY.

Bruce Komiske, MHA, FACHE obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from the University of Pittsburgh in an unspecified year. Bruce then pursued a Masters in Hospital Administration from Duke University, completing it from 1970 to 1972. Additionally, they attended Duke University's Fuqua School of Business for an MHA program, but no specific dates were provided.

Erlanger, named among "America's Best Hospitals"​ by U.S. News & World Report, is a non-profit, academic teaching center affiliated with the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. Erlanger is also a Level-One Trauma Center for adults and the only provider of tertiary care services for the citizens of an entire four-state region, encompassing southeast Tennessee, north Georgia, north Alabama and western North Carolina.
