Manny Vela

Manny Vela has had a diverse range of work experience. Manny started their career as an Assistance Coordinator at AXA Assistance from August 1998 to December 2002. Following this, they worked as a Minister at the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists from 2003 to 2014. In 2014, they joined BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee as a Consumer Advisor until 2016. Since then, Manny has been employed at Erlanger Health System, where they initially worked as an Applications Analyst I specializing in Epic ASAP and Care Everywhere Certified. Later on, they took on the role of Lead Applications Analyst, focusing on Epic ASAP, Care Everywhere, and Stork Certifications.

Manny Vela earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Theology/Theological Studies from Southern Adventist University in 1999-2003. Manny then went on to obtain a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) in Divinity/Ministry from Andrews University in 2006-2008. Additionally, Manny Vela has obtained various certifications from Epic, including EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation (2023), Epic Care Everywhere Certification (2016), ASAP Emergency Department Certification (2016), and Stork (year unspecified).
