Ben Sussman

Ben Sussman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in environmental management and urban planning. As a Technical Director at ERM: Environmental Resources Management since June 2005, Ben specializes in socioeconomics, environmental justice, transportation, land use, recreation, and visual resources, contributing expertise to both private-sector projects and regulatory evaluations under NEPA and SEPA. Prior roles include Principal Consultant and Project Manager at HNTB, where Ben led significant projects such as the General Management Plan/EIS for Manassas National Battlefield Park. Ben's background in transportation planning involved work with major airports and local governments. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Stanford University and a Master of City and Regional Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
