Matt Gold is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in business and sports. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Viking Mergers & Acquisitions since April 2024, Matt specializes in transition and exit planning for lower middle market business owners. Previous roles include Director of Customer Success, Director of Sales, and Account Manager at Hyliion from July 2018 to April 2024. Prior to that, Matt worked as a Sales Engineer and Application Engineer at The Timken Company, focusing on technical solutions in the Commercial Vehicle industry from July 2015 to June 2018. Matt also has experience in professional soccer, having played for teams such as the Charlotte Eagles and San Antonio Scorpions, as well as a stint with Toronto FC in Major League Soccer. Matt's academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University and an MBA from Ohio University.
