Kara Batdorff is an accomplished professional in the fields of environmental education and geographic information systems. Experience includes serving as a Science Education Intern at OMSI, where Kara provided educational programs on earth systems science, and as Co-Chair for the Lewis and Clark Environmental Affairs Symposium, facilitating events with experts in the field. A Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies was earned from Lewis and Clark College, followed by a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from Portland State University. Currently, Kara works as a GIS Consultant at ERM: Environmental Resources Management and has prior roles as a Network Specialist at Providence Health & Services and a Lifeguard at Portland Parks & Recreation. Tour guiding at Lewis and Clark College also contributed to Kara's ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
