Tracy Rijken

Tracy Rijken is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and web development. Currently serving as a Senior GIS/VertiGIS Instructor and VertiGIS Practice Lead at TeachMeGIS since August 2022, Tracy creates and delivers classes focused on the VertiGIS Studio product suite, web development, and ArcGIS Pro. Tracy's prior roles include a Web Developer for Nakafern since October 2020, and a Senior GIS Trainer/Consultant at TeachMeGIS from January 2006 to August 2016, where training classes in GIS were developed and taught. Earlier career highlights include working as a GIS Application Developer at LandWorks, Inc., and as a GIS Developer for the ArcToolbox team at Esri, focusing on testing and scripting. Tracy Rijken holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Geography from the University of Victoria, earned between 1993 and 1999.
