Emily Ortiz

Emily Ortiz is an accomplished architectural historian currently employed at ERO Resources Corporation since August 2023. Previously, Emily served as a researcher at Colorado State Morgan Library, focusing on groundwater history in Colorado, and contributed to the Public Lands History Center at Colorado State University by writing a historic context for John Martin Reservoir State Park. Emily's background includes a Master of Arts in Cultural Resource Management/Historic Preservation from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Simpson College. Additionally, Emily has experience as a certified prevention specialist and engaged in community service through various AmeriCorps programs, further highlighting a diverse skill set in research, historic preservation, and community engagement.
